The Advanx Residential Development is located in Rushcutters Bay and includes public, semi-private and private usage areas. Along with some of the challenges inherent to high-rise building sites, came some unique ones; including the installation of over 100, 8m tall black bamboo clumps to a private internal courtyard. This courtyard with its poor aspect is really brought to life with the impact of the bamboo, the deciduous feature trees, natural stone clad walling and a circular decking feature incorporating fibre optic lighting. Other features across the site include polished concrete seating slabs which were cast around light poles, 13 various segmental paving types, sandstone block seating slabs and 400L mature Eucalyptus trees installed to raised planters. Upon the completion of the construction works we undertook the ongoing maintenance of the site. Our scope of works covers all external garden beds and hard surfaces. In 2012, the Advanx Residential Development was awarded winner of the Excellence in the Landscape Construction Award for Commercial / Civil category under $1 000 000.00.
